What are the safety rules and regulation while doing electrical works?
Safety is the condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk or injury. And safety rules are those essential tasks to do before doing some electrical or any other works.
Some safety rules while doing electrical works are;
1. Electrical work should always be done certified electrician or who had relatable knowledge.
2. Before doing electrical work the main line must be cut off.
3. While working always avoid contact with naked wire.
4. Always use tools instead of using hand or teeth while stripping wire.
5. Always wear rubber shoes and gloves if possible.
6. Ensure that the equipment you are repairing is dry because wet equipment can leak electricity which is dangerous.
7. Always wear safety belt while you are working in high heights.
8. Make sure that the capacitor charges are dumped while working in capacitor based equipment.
9. Highly flammable matter is prohibited near electrical equipment.
10. Make sure that you have tapped all naked wire after work is finished.
