Why Birds Don't get Shock while Sitting on Electric live wire?

We had seen many times that birds are sitting on overhead wires but also it doesn’t get electric shock, here are some reason which leads to make safe from electric shock for birds:

1. Birds are not touching the ground or anything in contact with ground or neutral line, so the electricity will stay in the power line.

2. As we know that bird place both leg on same wire of same voltage so because of no potential difference in two legs of bird there no electricity is conducted.

3. Electricity always choose a low resistance path so in bird and wire case wire has low resistance and bird leg has high resistance so here electricity will easily flow through wire rather than bird leg  so as no current flow through bird it will no get electric shock.
